DR. PIPIM'S TWO NEW BOOK RELEASES

These latest works are stimulating and inspirational. Hope Through the Dark (subtitled: "Inspirational Nuggets on Failure, Betrayal, and Hurt") and Africa Must Think (subtitled "Thought Nuggets on Africa") are nugget-style books that will challenge and warm your heart. HOPE THROUGH THE DARK

“Without the dark, we cannot clearly see the stars. Similarly, the dark moments of adversity often reveal some of life’s most valuable gifts or blessings.” That’s the central message of this newly-released book. Arguing that “hope begins in the night, and sees light at the end of the dark tunnel,” this inspirational book seeks to encourage those who are dealing with the bitter pain of personal failure, hurt inflicted by others, or both. It shows how to turn those bitter lemons into sweet lemonades of life. Grounded in the Word of God, Hope Through the Dark is for those who have felt the sharp, stinging blows of doubts and discouragement on account of the failure or hurt they have experienced.

AFRICA MUST THINK

Although the title calls upon “Africa” to think, discerning readers will immediately recognize that this work is actually speaking to all continents! Africa Must Think transcends Africa and Africans. It is actually a collective call to humanity: “Although I write as a Ghanaian, African or Black person, the world is my audience. For I write as a citizen of the world to come.”  Replace the word “Africa” with your own world—whether personal or private world—and you’ll hear Africa Must Think speaking to you, saying: “There’s nothing wrong with the African mind. Our problem is the African mind-set. It is not a lack of resources, but a deficit of resourcefulness. And ours is not merely a need for more educated minds, but also for more transformed minds. In other words, the heart of the African problem is the African heart. This heart needs transformation.” That’s the burden of this provocative book.

Both Hope Through the Dark and Africa Must Think are written in short nugget-style format, each chapter (a paragraph long) is deep and inspiring.  Each book has 96 pages numbered chronologically, and it does not matter if you read this book from front to back, or just flip a page open at random. Each of these works begins and ends with poems. The  30 nuggets that constitute the 30 chapters of each book can be used over a 30-day period in any class--allowing folks to reflect and think on the books’ messages. You will be challenged and inspired.
